Dermal Fillers

Hyaluronic acid fillers combine with the water in your skin to smooth facial lines and wrinkles. They work to restore the natural contour of your face and enhance your lips. There is minimal down-time and results can last up to one year. This can be an effective, non-surgical way to improve your appearance, and is a reversible process if you are not completely satisfied with the results. These fillers can also contain local anesthetic for your comfort.

Neuromodulators

Neuromodulators are for the treatment of facial lines, including those of the forehead, as well as crow’s feet and squint lines. It can be used in combination with dermal fillers. These products can also be used to reduce excessive sweating and such treatments are covered by many health care plans, so please inquire with your insurer. When inquiring with your insurer, please quote the Drug Identification Number 01981501.

Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, is a common disorder which produces a lot of unhappiness. An estimated 2%-3% of Canadians suffer from excessive sweating of the underarms (axillary hyperhidrosis) or of the palms and soles of the feet. People who suffer from hyperhidrosis sweat excessively even when the body does not need cooling. Hyperhidrosis can occur while the rest of the body remains dry, one or two areas may drip with sweat and make it difficult to function normally. Injections with Neuromodulators (such as BOTOX®) will help the sweating to be significantly reduced after 10-14 days and lasts approximately 6 months or longer.
